THE SYSTEMS RECOGNISED BY TURKEY

Foreign candidates can only apply for university programs that have been shown in this guide in Turkey.

After the completed applications, our experts will direct the student according to the entrance requirements of the university, if there is a certain university that the candidates want. If there is no specific university that he / she wants, a university will be determined first. Professional consultancy will be provided to our student with the YÖS result or other accepted exams according to the determined university. Exams determined as equivalent of YÖS will be among the acceptance conditions of universities.

The international exams accepted by the Higher Education Council other than YÖS are:
1-Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT I),

2-American College Testing (ACT),

3-General Certificate Education (GCE-A Level),

4-International Baccalaureate (IB),

5-Abitur,

6-French Baccalaureate,

7-Matura,

8-Tawjihi Exam held in Jordan and Palestine,

9-Baccalaureate Exams held in Lebanon,

10-Al-Shahada-Al Thanawiyya (Baccalaureate) Exam held in Syria,

11-Gaokao made in the People’s Republic of China.

12-In addition, candidates who have received gold, silver or bronze medals in international science Olympics recognized and participated by TÜBİTAK may apply directly to the university.

13-Diploma scores of some international high schools

It is up to the universities to decide which university will accept which exams and at what level among these exams. You can consult the UNSUR Education Agency and determine the appropriate system for you.
