Baskent University was established in the Turkish capital, Ankara, in 1994. Today, it is considered one of the most prominent higher education institutions in Turkey. The university includes 11 faculties, 7 institutes, 6 vocational schools, and a school of foreign languages. In addition to about 13 research centers.
The university studied almost all disciplines, starting from medical sciences and engineering sciences, in addition to social, administrative and literary sciences. It also takes English as the language of instruction for a wide range of disciplines besides Turkish.
More than 17,000 students from different countries study at the university, and its academic staff consists of 1,718 professors, academics and researchers in various disciplines. More than 36,000 students have graduated from the university since its establishment.
The vision of Baskent University is to be a home that provides a high level of education based on scientific production in every field of advanced medical practice as an international brand, and turns this into a social added value on the way to its rightful place in the line of modern civilization.
